Seaweed Flow

Materials: Welsh and Scottish slate, hand-made filati, stone, porcelain tile.

This mosaic was inspired by the beauty of seaweed sprawling over coastal rocks. It was built on a hand-made, undulating substrate, reflecting the gentle rise and fall of the tides, and the movement of the seaweed as it sways in the water.
